Swimming Lessons
Youth Aquatics

Community Education's Swimming Lessons Facilitators and instructors will guide youth swimmers through a series of lessons to help them gain water safety skills and learn swimming techniques. Session 1 Lessons are reserved for 4 - 6 year old children in Level One only. Session 2 Lessons are available to 4 - 18 year old children. Level assessment will be June 21st - Classes will be week June 24th - 28th (Class times and dates will be set after assessment) Session 3 Lessons are available to 4 - 18 year old children. Level assessment will be July 12th - Classes will be week July 15th - 19th (Class times and dates will be set after assessment) Session 4 Lessons are reserved for 4 - 6 year old children in Level One only. All class times will be 45 minutes. Start times will either be 9:00 am, 10:00 am or 11:00 am.

Storm Lake Swim Team
Youth Aquatics

Storm Lake Swim Team is a competitive swim program for youth ages 6 to 18 years old. Participants will compete against other area swim teams. This program offers children and teens an opportunity to work with trained coaches to improve swimming skills, endurance and promote a healthy lifestyle. The swim program is held at King's Pointe Resort. Practices are mornings prior to the waterpark opening. Exact times will be determined after registrations are received (7:30-12:30). There will be swim meets on Wednesday evenings (conference meet on a Saturday in July). Travel to other communities will be required. Transportation is not provided.

Community Education Storm Lake Youth Golf Program is designed the beginner and the experienced golfer. We use the First Tee Program to facilitate our program. First Tee of Siouxland is a youth development program, that uses golf to build character, install values and creates health habits in youth. Participants may borrow clubs if they do not have their own. Participants receive a polo. Program will be held at Buena Vista Golf Course and Sunrise Pointe Golf Course.

Kickers Soccer Club - Outdoor

The Kickers Soccer Club is competitive soccer group. The club is for Storm Lake and surrounding area youth soccer players interested in developing soccer skills and competing on a high level. The club is dedicated to teaching soccer skills and encouraging physical activity. The Kickers Soccer Club will participate in practices, scrimmages, and games. Practice and game schedule will be announced after registration.
